Argentina investment citizenship · Decision guide
Argentina vs other citizenship by investment programmes
Compare Argentina, Dominica, Grenada, Saint Lucia and Türkiye by the money committed, family assumptions and programme maturity—not a single headline price.
Compare equivalent commitments
The selected official routes below are examples, not a market-wide cheapest-program ranking. Amounts exclude additional fees. Family definitions differ. Argentina’s announced route and published application instructions in other programmes are not the same implementation stage.
| Programme | Base amount | What is being committed |
|---|---|---|
| Argentina · contribution | US$350,000 | Main applicant; non-refundable; announced Q4 opening |
| Argentina · bond | US$800,000 | Bond principal; final conditions to verify |
| Dominica · EDF | US$200,000 single / US$250,000 with up to three qualifying dependants | Government contribution |
| Grenada · NTF | US$235,000 single or family of four | Contribution; qualifying family and additional fees |
| Saint Lucia · NEF | US$240,000 with up to three qualifying dependants | Government contribution |
| Türkiye · property | US$400,000 | Qualifying property; three-year resale restriction |
Contribution, bond and property are different decisions
A lower contribution can still be the larger permanent expense. An asset route ties up capital and carries its own valuation, liquidity and transaction risks. Compare total cash needed, fees, permitted exit and the rights actually sought.
Use the same household in every comparison
Quote each programme for the same people, ages and relationships. Confirm whether parents, adult children or siblings qualify and whether a stated family price includes their government contribution only. Do not transfer one programme’s definition of a dependant to another.
Start with a destination, not a passport count
Ask where you need to visit, live, work or study. Short-stay visa exemption does not establish residence or employment rights. A residence-by-investment programme is also not direct citizenship; assess its separate residence and eventual naturalization rules.
A comparison worksheet
Write down five criteria: total non-refundable expense, capital locked up, household eligibility, implementation/legal certainty and the specific rights you need. Mark unanswered items rather than filling them with a sales estimate.
Request a current official-source quote and independent legal/tax review for the shortlisted route. eArgentina does not rank programmes as universally best or take investment payments.
