Action task
Set up everyday essentials
Make appointments, transport and essential contacts usable while longer administrative steps are still pending.
Before you start
Your locality, address and access to a phone or email.
Check the options before starting- Official source: Emergencias; Violencia y abuso
- Official source: SUBE — sistema de pagos para transporte
- Official source: Ley simple: Alquileres
Steps
- Keep a working contact number and email for official appointments. Ask any mobile provider which identity documents and verification it requires before buying a plan.
- Check your local transport network and payment methods. If it uses SUBE, use the official city, card and registration pages rather than assuming coverage nationwide.
- Save your address/cross streets, local emergency number, insurer assistance and consular contact offline. The official emergency directory lists 911 and 100; check local ambulance coverage.
- Keep appointment receipts and follow-up dates in a private calendar. Never send identity documents or funds to someone solely because they claim to be an agent.
- Build a first-month budget from actual dated quotes: accommodation/deposit, utilities, transport, connectivity, coverage, document services, official fees and a contingency. Recheck currency and adjustment terms; this guide does not invent a living-cost figure.
How to know you are done
You can receive appointment messages, travel locally and reach essential help, with a dated budget and private follow-up calendar.
You mark completion; eArgentina does not verify it.
