Argentina CBI preparation by occupation and source of funds

Choose the preparation that matches how you earn and hold money. Occupation is not a substitute for nationality, eligibility or a lawful funding trail.

Choose your income situation

Each guide contains a worked scenario, evidence categories and questions for advisers. The examples do not create new official document requirements or decide approval.

If you have several income sources

Combine the relevant guides. A founder may also receive salary, consultancy fees or a pension. Explain each source, beneficial ownership and the bank route rather than treating one occupation label as the answer.

Make the next decision useful

First understand your nationality rules, then compare household funding and programme readiness. Keep identity and financial evidence private; use the local preparation pack for questions and assumptions.

Change note: Pricing and the planned opening window were announced on 2 October; implementation still needs verification.

Applies when: Foreigners evaluating the announced citizenship-by-investment program.

What remains uncertain: This announcement does not establish a live filing channel, full fees or final bond conditions. The Q4 window is a plan, not evidence that filing is open.

Family contributions

The announced additional Treasury contributions are US$100,000 for a spouse, US$100,000 per child aged 18–25 who is unmarried and has no children, and US$25,000 per child under 18. A main applicant, spouse and two minor children total US$500,000 on the contribution route.

Change note: The 2 October announcement specified family categories and amounts.

Applies when: An applicant seeking to include family members with evidence of the relationship.

What remains uncertain: Final dependent eligibility and extra fees need verification. The US$950,000 bond-family example is our arithmetic: US$800,000 plus US$150,000 in family contributions.

Application framework

Decree 524/2025 assigns APCI the evaluation and recommendation, and DNM the final citizenship decision. Its 30-working-day DNM period begins on receipt of APCI’s report, not when an applicant starts the process.

Change note: Existing procedure checked on 3 October 2026 alongside the new pricing announcement.

Applies when: Foreigners evaluating the announced citizenship-by-investment program.

What remains uncertain: The decree is the existing framework; it does not set the newly announced prices, the total processing time or a passport-delivery timetable. The current legal footing also needs review in light of citizenship litigation.
